Yeah, I read what you had posted of the prequel, and I've loved what you have written so far.

Just realized I've not left a comment here in ages. And I think my avi is striking against the color scheme of your layout so, that's good enough reason for me hmm? *snicker*

Hope Clarion is going well and looking forward to your return to writing (and mine!) :D

    Hello there Beth!
I've been lurking at sexy sims and this site for the last couple of days now reading "A Continent too Far" (also began reading "The Archaeologist", came to this site to finish it) and I thought I'd just come out of hiding already.

Now, I realize that I am about a year late in reading your trilogy, and I'm sure you've heard this more than a hundred times, but the story was fantastic. And I really feel that fantastic isn't enough to describe how good it was.
And ordinarilly, I don't usually get into this kind of story. You know, with fairies, and gods and goddess type things. But I was hooked from the first paragraph. And while through most of it I had tons of unanswered questions, and tons of frustration due to said questions, I kept on reading when under normal circumstances, I would have just given up on a story that had my brain so jumbled I wanted to scream.

I literally could not stop reading this. I would tell myself "Alright, you will not stay up until all hours of the night reading this, you must go to bed at some point" and then end up forcing myself away just mere hours before I had to wake up for work.

You're a truly gifted writer, and you have such a vivid imagination that showed clearly through the pictures used to illustrate this story.

    WONDERFUL, job.

Wow, what a lovely thing to say, thankyou for commenting. I really appreciate it. :-D

I am glad you've enjoyed the trilogy, I am in the process of finishing the prequel, so the story hasn't quite ended yet. Still some loose ends to be tied up (I'm sure you've noticed).

You are very welcome to pop notes on the threads themselves if you ever wish to, so you don't have to go to the trouble of finding my profile.

The Archaeologist. Yes. Poor Bryan has taken a back seat to Reno and Raith and ACTF and my RL work, but I do have a rest of the story. He seems to be quite happy where he is atm, but as soon as Raith's is done I'll have a brain slot free to do his stuff again. So don't be a stranger, eh. image

Yeah - it is kind of gross at the moment - today (Thurs) is particularly yuk because I am at home - Three days per week I work in Ipswich and with the airconditioning I don't notice the weather.

Our grass is beginning to take on jungle characteristics - hubby will have to find time to get out and mow.

Depressing - all the kids are now finished school for the year and my peace and quiet at home on days off is now shattered

Oh.... yes.... well..... this is a completely made up profile that I only used when I couldn't get in on the 77 one. Then that got working and this became defunct. Not sure why I didn't see your previous message though... anyway, I haven't used the 77 one much either. I did drop in on your forum from time to time, but there was never an appropriate post to butt into.

But nice to hear from you! Hope you are well. I'll go and have a browse on your forum now, to see what's what.

    Cheers!
